Hello America

We just had Christmas break, and it was tons of fun. Uncle Peter and family came up. We celebrated christmas. I got some clothing items, a guitar, a PS2 with guitar hero 3. It was tons of fun. We went sledding with U.P.F. except Porter, because he went snowboarding. Sledding was really awsome. Me and tanner went down one time, and there was this little jump. We hit it perfect. We crashed, but we did go off. Then I went off on me stumach and hit it. I landed, but it hurt. It was a driving range, so if you can get the Idea. There was a bunch of trees over to the right. We hit those alot.
It was really fun. We also went and saw National Treasure 2. It was a really good movie. Well, that's about it, besides sitting around playing Guitar Hero 3. I also have a new blog. Random-is-us.blogspot.com, so yea.

SEE YA.

My life so far.

Not much has been going on different. We went to a Utah Falsh game tonight, they were playing the Bakersfield Jam. This is the D-Legue, the people who almost made it. If there was a D-Legue in the Bloging world, Garret/Porter blog would be on it. Oh and while we are on that subject. This next bit of information in extremly important(not really). The Porter/Garret blog is a fraud. They make all there stuff up. This is really just to bite back on the retorts on me. It's christmas break, so we will have some fun with this. I am extremely depressed with the fact that aparently the Writers went on strike. I am disipointed about the fact that the office is canceled. It will probably be over when Grandma and Grandpa come home, so congragulations. Well, thats about it. Bye, don't support Porter/Garret.

ceder city

This past week has been a fiasco(?) of events. After my last post, I had an amazingly busy day on Wednesday. We had our swim practice till four O'clock, and got home at 4:30, I had piano at 6:00, and then had a team dinner at 7:00. We had pizza, it was really good. The next day we went to school until lunch, then we Left for ceder city. The bus ride was very long, we had a meet in richfeild so we stopped there first. Our coaches kept calling this meet a "practice" meet. We lost, which is to be expected if we all thought it was a practice meet. Our coaches still got mad at us of course. I got a recording of it. It is pretty good stuff. I listened to it be for one of my races, but that is in a later part. She called us mediocre(?). I wore uncle marks tattoos, and I would like to note that uncle marks swim cap is pretty popular, and mandee loved hers. Our swim meet in ceder city went over very well. Before I get into that, on Saturday, we had to get into groups and had to do a fear factor/some other game-like-thing. Well, one of our..."tasks" was to eat something, but they would not tell us what. I happened to be the one on the team who was known for eating allot. I thought I could eat anything, worms, dirt, but they happened to bring out pickles. I hate pickles. I was sure I could choke down some regular pickles, but these pickles were disgusting. I kept a straight face through the whole ordeal, but I thought I was going to through up. Another one of the tasks was to go and do 3 flip turns in the swimming pool. The pool was out side. It was snowing. The fence to the pool was locked but people climbed over it. Not everybody had to do it, just to clarify things. The maintenance man was really angry. That's about all the exciting stuff. Now for our meet. I listened to my coaches rampage before the 100. I went from a 1:07 to a 1:03. I wanted to drop 5 seconds. That was all of my event for that day. The next day was the best. Our bus driver Bob brought his kid. I was calling him bob Jr. then I learned his name was chance. I started calling him Chauncey. He was trying to act really cool and I picked him up by his ankles. He continued act cool from that position, then I dunked his head in the water. He started to freak out then. He is 6 years old. Then I did a 200 I.M. I went from a 2:53 to a 2:48. It was great. We have another meet this week and I can't wait. This kid Jesse Roberts is like the next Micheal Phelps. He did one of those cool back-to-breast flip turns, but got DQ'd. I officially got the funny kid of the team title, somebody said to me today, If you tell any more jokes, I am going to have an 8-pack. I also got the kid who eats food really fast title, and the biggest shoe on the team title. We also took Grandma and Grandpa to the MTC. It was really cool to send them off, not cool as in, yes there gone, but cool as being there.

That's it.

It's Been a While

Well, I guess it has been a while since I have been on. People have been bugging me about updating it, so I guess I had better do it now. Lets see....since the Saint George marathon, (just as a side note, I would like to state that G is a funny letter.) um I have been enjoying the swim team, it has been tons of fun. We have had about 3 meets and have done well in all of them. I have done well in all of them personally, also. I have been swimming mostly fly and free(either 100 or 200). I am also on the 400 A team, and the 200 B team. One of our meets they had me swim breast and the 200 IM. I did pretty good in my IM, the coach said when I got to my breast it looked like I had had enough (because I was going so slow) then I hit my free style and was flying. Apparently it is just my breast stroke. In my breast stroke, when they hit the buzzer we all jumped in and everyone was down to the other side by the time I had made it half way. It was a one hundred, so I was halfway on my third 25 when everyone else had finished. When I was turning to go to my 4th 25 I cut my toe, so it was a bad experience overall. I hate breast just to clarify thing right now. So my times as of now, are:

100 fly: 1:19:?? (would have been 1:18:?? if I hadn't got DQ'd)

100 free: 1:06:??(I think?)

200 free: 2:31:??(my first time!)

200 IM: ??:??:??(I have a horrible memory)

So there you have that. I tried out for the baskettball team, that was fun. I had to get up at four in the morning, to get there by 5 O'Clock. Yes, AM. I didn't make it, but it would have messed things up for the swim team. Well, other then that, for those who don't know, we went down to California. It was alot of fun. We made a movie, Some title you want to call it. If we put it on YOUTUBE, I will put it on this blog. Candice painted my shoes, I have gotten alot of complements. It was great to hear grandma and grandpa talk. Thanksgiving was fun. Playing basball was fun, and also playing in the turkey bowl.

We are doing fine in our new house, and we all fit pretty comfortably. Kaitlin made the baskettball team, and there first game was tonight. School has been great.

St. George Marathon Continued

Yea, so then we went and we waited at the end of the marathon for them. We got there right as the very first runners were coming in. They look like they were hurting. I started to take pictures of weird people on my moms camera. I got pictures of harry guys, old people, people holding hands, some guy that was chanting somthing, and some other weird oddities. Then as I wasn't looking, my mom says, "Hey there is a guy with a bloody nipple, go get a picture." I got up and started running as fast as I could. I was doging in and out of the people traffic, then I got to a ditch. There were people all over the side I was on. So I go and jump over the ditch then, as I jump back, I misplaced my foot. I slipped and fell, I could have gotten the perfect picture. I missed it. I saved the camera, but I ripped a hole in my jeans. I walked back to my mom, and she started freaking out. I was wondering what was going on. "Mom, it's just a pair of jeans, you can't fix them here!" Apparently I had scraped my knee pretty bad. It hadn't hurt until I saw it, but thats okay. So thats about when Uncle Nathan came around the corner, He looked fine. Aunt Jill left to go wait for him. Then, a while later, Uncle Peter came around, followed by my dad. It was great. The boys started running with him, I would have but it would have looked weird to see a limping man try to run. Times:
Uncle Nathan: 3:27:--
Uncle Peter: 4:22:--
My Dad: 4:37:--

Other Highlights of the past week:
Well, we have to start packing up stuff for our new house, so we have been doing that, but of course, we also got a new X-Box. We are still geting work done though. I went in and took my learners permit test, I got a 78%, out of the 80% I need. I needed one more question. The question was:
Marjajuana does not affect your driving.
a) True
b) False
I read it like this
Marjajuana does affect your driving.
a) True
b) False

So yea, I was annoyed about that. Thats about it.

St. George Marathon

So last week almost, we went down to St. George. I just haven't had time to post. My dad, Uncle Peter, and Uncle Nathan were all running in the saint George Marathon. In my opinion, they all had a different perspective of the word WINNING:

My Dad-Not cramping up until after 18 or 20 miles

Uncle Nathan-Beating a certain time

Uncle Peter-...I really don't know what he was thinking

Now these are just my opinions, so don't quote me. So the morning of the race, we woke up at 4 in the morning. We took Uncle Peter and my dad down to the hotel where Uncle Nathan was staying (we were staying at my Uncle Lanes). We then proceded to drive to the place where we would wait for the 3 men. We got there at 5ish. We tried to go to sleep in a 6 person tuck with 8 people in it, with a band playing in the background. If you can guess, we didn't get much luck. So we just sat in the tuck awake. At 6:30, the wheelchair people came ( they let them go by first). After that, we had a while to wait. Then Uncle Nathan came past, followed by my dad, followed closly by Uncle Peter. Then after about an Half an hour, I saw my old biology teacher, Mr. Hallam. The office is coming on so I will right the rest in the next post.
