I'm Fine

There has been alot of questions about how I am on my blog. I would just like to say that I am doing fine. In fact, I'm doing wonderful. I shaved my legs for the first time for swimming, but it helped, I dropped 6 seconds in my backstroke and 5 in my I.M. So yeah. Now we here at cooperurmston.blogspot.com would like to ask all of you: How you doin'?

Another Second

First off, Lacy got a hold of the "S" key on my dads keyboard, so if you see a random "s" in the middle, beginning or end of a word, sorry. You may not see one because I caught them all, but if you do...sorry, again. We had another meet, and it was against richfield. The boys one by forty points and almost none of the girls showed up so our girls lost by seven. I swam the I.M. again. That rhymes if you say it out loud. I am starting to like this stroke. I was swimming against
Rapheal (Raf-i-el) Durtchi (Dur-chi). He is the other "I.M."er. That ryhmes too, kindof. So we get up on the block, this won't be as discriptive as my other one, and the person says go. I dive in and figure I'd be pretty psyched if I got a 2:33 again. I saw Durtchi on my back to breast turn and he was right next to me. That was the moment I decided I was not going to lose this race. I kept up with him on the breast and then went as fast as my little arms would carry me on free. I dropped another second. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, who ever can tell me what that is and who owns it (not the trainer) and who the owner was keeping frozen in carbonite, is cool.

Did it Again

As I step up on the block I slap my head a few times, getting into the zone. Butterfly, back, breast, free. Butterfly, back, breast, free. That's whats going through my mind. In that dull, almost monotone, voice that only those buzzer people can have, the words, "take your mark" are registered in my brain. I bend down and wait patiently for that recognizable yet indescribable noise that signals me to go. As it sounds, I dive off the block. I start into that powerful stroke, the butterfly. All I'm thinking is, "35, 35, 35". I touch the wall and turn around, I'm in the lead. Yes!!!
I start to feel my arms burn as I approach the touch pad. I grab the wall and go into backstroke. "Keep your head back", I can hear my coach keep saying, "Head back, butt up!" I see the flags, " 1, 2, 3, flip!" I turn and push off the wall. I keep swimming. My worst stroke is coming up, breaststroke. I see the other flags and count to five. I touch the wall and turn. I'm still in front, WHAT?!?!? There is no way I was going to lose this race now. I start my breaststroke and, while fighting the urge to hurl the pasta noodles we ate before this, started going as fast as my bad form would take me. I finished that fifty, and I was still in first. I only had to finish the freestyle now. I sprinted as fast as I could, did an awesome flip turn, and finished on the wall. I looked up at the clock, 2:33. I was almost as happy as when I broke the 1:00. I got first, it was sweet. Up next I had my 100 free. I was not leaving that pool without a 58. I got in and started swimming as fast as I could. I touch the wall and looked up. 59.66, I slapped the water in anger. Then I realized an important fact. I was in lane eight, not 1!! HaHa(candice)!! I looked at number eight, just hoping it was a 58. 58.99, YES!!! Right on the edge. It was awesome. We ended up getting 2nd in that meet. I also swam on the Medely B team and the 400 A team. It was pretty sweet.

On another note, I looked up tanners band, TANNER, It was somthing else. All the songs I listend to it sounded like a somebody trying to imitate the B-52's and throughing in a hard metal beat to it. It was weird there was one that was decent, but other than that....yea.
