St. George Marathon Continued

Yea, so then we went and we waited at the end of the marathon for them. We got there right as the very first runners were coming in. They look like they were hurting. I started to take pictures of weird people on my moms camera. I got pictures of harry guys, old people, people holding hands, some guy that was chanting somthing, and some other weird oddities. Then as I wasn't looking, my mom says, "Hey there is a guy with a bloody nipple, go get a picture." I got up and started running as fast as I could. I was doging in and out of the people traffic, then I got to a ditch. There were people all over the side I was on. So I go and jump over the ditch then, as I jump back, I misplaced my foot. I slipped and fell, I could have gotten the perfect picture. I missed it. I saved the camera, but I ripped a hole in my jeans. I walked back to my mom, and she started freaking out. I was wondering what was going on. "Mom, it's just a pair of jeans, you can't fix them here!" Apparently I had scraped my knee pretty bad. It hadn't hurt until I saw it, but thats okay. So thats about when Uncle Nathan came around the corner, He looked fine. Aunt Jill left to go wait for him. Then, a while later, Uncle Peter came around, followed by my dad. It was great. The boys started running with him, I would have but it would have looked weird to see a limping man try to run. Times:
Uncle Nathan: 3:27:--
Uncle Peter: 4:22:--
My Dad: 4:37:--

Other Highlights of the past week:
Well, we have to start packing up stuff for our new house, so we have been doing that, but of course, we also got a new X-Box. We are still geting work done though. I went in and took my learners permit test, I got a 78%, out of the 80% I need. I needed one more question. The question was:
Marjajuana does not affect your driving.
a) True
b) False
I read it like this
Marjajuana does affect your driving.
a) True
b) False

So yea, I was annoyed about that. Thats about it.

St. George Marathon

So last week almost, we went down to St. George. I just haven't had time to post. My dad, Uncle Peter, and Uncle Nathan were all running in the saint George Marathon. In my opinion, they all had a different perspective of the word WINNING:

My Dad-Not cramping up until after 18 or 20 miles

Uncle Nathan-Beating a certain time

Uncle Peter-...I really don't know what he was thinking

Now these are just my opinions, so don't quote me. So the morning of the race, we woke up at 4 in the morning. We took Uncle Peter and my dad down to the hotel where Uncle Nathan was staying (we were staying at my Uncle Lanes). We then proceded to drive to the place where we would wait for the 3 men. We got there at 5ish. We tried to go to sleep in a 6 person tuck with 8 people in it, with a band playing in the background. If you can guess, we didn't get much luck. So we just sat in the tuck awake. At 6:30, the wheelchair people came ( they let them go by first). After that, we had a while to wait. Then Uncle Nathan came past, followed by my dad, followed closly by Uncle Peter. Then after about an Half an hour, I saw my old biology teacher, Mr. Hallam. The office is coming on so I will right the rest in the next post.

Update (Short Edition)

Okay, for those of you who don't like to read, here is my short edition of what has been going on:

1-Couldn't get a mens volleyball team started

2-In the Spanish Fork Press for Trucker Convention

3-Joined FFA/State Fair

4-Welded for the first time: scary

5-Got another Swim Coach

6-Life Rank in Scouting

7-Girl on Swim Team from Bakersfield

8- Selling House

UPDATE

Okay, so nothing much has been happining latly, but I am going to tell you what has been happening between the nothing happening:

1- My mens volleyball team idea has been....not rejected, but given up. The guy I talked to said that I had to go talk to the state school board, and then it would just get more complicated from their, so I just decided that It wasn't worth it. By the time I get one started, I will probably be a junior. They said I could start a mens volleyball club, but that dosn't sound as cool.

2- I was in the Spanish Fork Press. I went to some trucker convention and then they tracked me down. I then had to get my picture taken with the trucker and his truck. The convention was pretty cool, I got 4 doughnuts, 3 Fruit drinks, and 2 free tardies. I got my friends to get in the picture to, but I forgot to mention it was going to be in the paper. They also quoted me. The inside of the turck looked pretty cool. They guy has to go through 18 gears to get to 75 mph. The heading of the article was FUTURE TRUCKERS!!! ( it used a more formal word than tuckers). We now joke around that we are in the FFA and the FTA (Future Farmers of America and Future Truckers of America)

3-I found out that welding was a FFA class and joined it. We then went to the state fair and wathed a guy make a wooden sculpture with a chain saw.

4- I welded for the first time today!!! I was already to do it, but then I got up to weld, put the sheild down, and Freaked out. It was pitch black in there. I thought I might weld my finger off(?). I was on MIG welding, so the weld comes from a wire that is fed through the pipe. There was a slim chance I might hit my finger.

5-We got a new partner swim coach.

6-I am now a life in the Scouting program

7- There is a girl on my swim team who used to swim with Liberty High I think. She new me and Jordan were related.

Thats about it. .....Oh, were selling our house
