My Def Leppard Concert

Yesterday I got to go to my DEF LEPPARD CONCERT. It was amazing. We left the house at 5:00 and the traffic was horrible on the way up there. We had to pull into a church parking lot because we could walk faster than we could drive. So we walked about a half a mile to the USANA ampitheater. Since the traffic Horrible, we got there at 7:40. The concert started at 7:00. I was hoping that Styx was opening, because I didn't know to many of there songs. When we walked up to the Ampitheater, Foreigner was just finishing Jukebox Hero. Then as we were going to are seats, they were playing Hot Blooded as there closing song. So we had missed Foreigner, but
Styx was amazing.
They had so many great songs. There Lead singer was halarious, It looked like they had put him on the piano so it would look like he was doing somthing. He had a good voice, but in one of there songs he started attempting to, what looked like, river dance. He had his hand behind his back, and he was moving his feet all over the place. Well then Styx finished, and my dad went and bought me a cool Def Leppard t-shirt. Well the line was huge, and we got back just in time. Def Leppard came out and started to play right as we got to our seats. They had an AC/DC soundtrack playing when and when they came out they cut the sound and lights and then the loudest explosion of screams I've ever heard
exploded from the audeince. Def Leppard was amazing, the lead singer was a little fat, but hey. We were standing for so long, the bottom of my feet were hurting, and I had to sit down every ten minutes. My ears also started hurting because the girl sitting behind us would scream this high pitched scream every song. So all in all I had a blast, but I got to tell you, I had no idea how many non mormons there were in Utah. They had people drinking every where. One person past out 3 rows in front of us. There were two people to the left of us that wern't drinking. It also stunk really bad. If Def Leppard hadn't been there, I would have left. So other then the drinking, this was the first and best concert I have ever been to.

Sounds to me like you had a good time and also learned some things about life. Conserts bring out some very interesting people.

I believe Congratulations are in order on your very first concert:). I remember going to the Kern County Fair to see Billy Ray Cyrus so I have to admit that was my first concert. Later in life I was able to see Pearl Jam, the Ramons, and Elton John. The Pearl Jam concert was awesome We were on the floor and I loved The Elton John concert because he is so talented. I love listening to music and especially classic rock. But Grandma is right When I went to some of these concerts some of the things I saw were not pretty. Take care and keep us posted. ~Aunt Jill and Family

Oh man it is so amazing that my high school music years are now the classics. Foreigner is amazing even all these years.
